Hi, I am trying to organise some tutor litterpicking schemes at school as there’s always a lot of rubbish after lunchtime with eco council at my school. But we are not sure what to do with the items that could be recycled as our school don’t really have any proper recycling bins. Is there any tips?
Great to hear that you are putting effort into organsing this at your school! You can find out how your local council collects recycling by checking out their website. Then you should separate out the materials whilst you are collecting the litter into different bags (normally glass, plastics and cans). You will then need to take the recycling materials to a community recycling bin or centre - maybe you could ask a teacher or parent to help deliver it to the correct place?
