Join University of Worcester for their Climate Cafe, a space to share feelings about the climate and ecological crisis - a thinking and feeling space, a break from busyness and activity. We do this because sharing feelings in a supportive setting helps us build resilience during this confusing and difficult time. We know that many people lack other spaces where they are comfortable having these conversations.
The cafe is facilitated so you can be sure there will be space to speak, though there’s no obligation to do so. There is no intention to lead participants to any conclusion or course of action or recruit them to do anything.
It would be helpful (though not essential) if participants could attend at the published start time, and we would limit numbers where necessary. All are welcome, though we don’t advise young children to attend.
Worcester Climate Cafe was established in 2023, meets monthly, and is run by volunteer facilitators.
