About
In Spring / Summer 2025 Youngwilders is running the second year of ‘Wayfinders’, a series of youth-led field skills classes! This session is about Grasslands and Floodplains!
Who is this for:
For young people aged 18-30 interested in improving your career skill set, or just learning nature skills for the sheer joy of it!
What you’ll be doing:
We’ll explore the grasses and wildflowers living at Pardon Lock, learning how to identify common species, and how to assess the condition of different grassland habitats. Pardon Lock is a Floodplain Meadow, so we will also be learning about the nature of Floodplains, and the unique features of these habitats.
What to expect:
Wayfinders is led and delivered by young people working in the nature sector! Expect workshops, ID sessions, practical activities and more. No prior experience is required or expected! See details below!
