The CAN Summit is open to all residents, communities, organizations, businesses and stakeholders who want Stockport to be a climate-friendly place to live and work. The event will celebrate and share climate actions from communities, young people, businesses and the council through talks, discussions and workshops.

All tickets are free. Please note that places are limited and booking is essential. When you arrive at the event you will be checked in by your name and ticket number. If you can only make it to part of the day, that’s no problem - just let us know when you’re booking.
Location: Stockport Town Hall, Edward Street, SK1 3XE
The event will be photographed and filmed. Images and footage from the event may be used by Stockport Council and partners for publication and print.
There will be vegetarian and vegan lunch provided as well as tea and coffee during the breaks.
The venue is less than a 10 minute walk from Stockport Train Station and bus stops are positioned outside the venue. Secure cycle storage is available nearby, you can find locations by clicking here. Parking is not available at the Town Hall or Stopford House. There is alternative parking available nearby. Please note, the agenda items and times are subject to change. You will be invited to choose which sessions/workshops you attend before the event. The main sessions will take place in the ballroom at Stockport Town Hall. The workshops will take place in the committee rooms and as such places on the workshops will be limited.
