Come and explore the work of the Marine Conservation Society, our amazing ocean, & how you can get involved as a young person today!

Event Information:
Join the Marine Conservation Society in the Pearce Institute, Glasgow, for a day of networking, learning about our ocean and making new friends! This event is dedicated to you - our amazing young people - and will provide you with the opportunity to hear more about the Marine Conservation Society’s work and how you can help protect our blue planet. Members of our #YouthOceanNetwork will be helping to lead the day (hear from some of them here!).
The day will consist of marine related presentations, interactive workshops, networking, and an opportunity to explore the Riverside Museum at the end of the day. If you want to work in conservation, learn more about our blue planet, or are just interested in playing your part in looking after the environment… this event is for you!
Guests organisations include:
Doors open 11:30am, event start by 11.45am. The venue, the Pearce Institute, is located on Govan Road. We will be in the Billiard room. The event will finish at 3.30pm to give attendees time to explore the museum (7 mins walk away) together if they so wish. Find out more about accessibility to the Riverside Museum here.
There will be a lunch break with some small refreshments provided. Please do bring a packed lunch or prepare to pop out to grab one if you so wish.
