Guide for parents and teachers
We’re thrilled to have you here, even if it’s just a quick wave from the sidelines. Our forum is the go-to place for young eco-warriors to connect, share, and champion climate action. While parents and teachers play an important role in guiding our young stars, we’ve reserved this digital playground exclusively for them.
Backstage access only
The spotlight here is on our incredible youth! This space is tailored for them to express, inspire, and lead. For safety reasons, parents and teachers cannot participate in the main forums.
Educators have their own special space to chat about The Power of 10 and exchange game-changing strategies to supercharge your classroom. As for parents, we’re working on finding a cosy spot for you too. Stay tuned for updates on how you can join the party in the future!
How we keep young people safe
No secrets among friends
Private chats are a no-go; all forum convos are monitored from a secure admin space. We keep the conversations open, friendly, and inclusive.
Superstar moderating team
We’ve got our digital binoculars on the whole forum and a flagging system to make sure mods can be alerted swiftly. Every post, every interaction – we’re here, keeping things cool and safe.
No sharing of personal info
We have a strict policy against sharing exact locations or real names publicly, and our mods will wipe them where we see them. Our personal safety guide on meeting other campaigners in real life also includes parents and teachers so you are involved in their plans.
Identity verification
Where we can, we’ll play detective (the fun kind) to ensure everyone is who they say they are. In the event someone is not who they say they are, they’ll be booted swiftly. This is why we ask for personal info during the sign up process, and also check for age. You can read our privacy policy in the footer of this page.
Opening hours
Our digital doors swing open during sociable hours, UK hours. This means no posting can happen when the mods are off duty.
Supporting your young people
If your young person expresses an interest in making a difference for our world, we would love you to support them in whatever way you can! Helping to facilitate conversations, travel and ideas as much as you can will help our super community change the world, with you cheering from the sidelines!
Another Way would also be so grateful if you would consider donating to help us keep the app up-to-date and give young people across the country the best experience we can. We are a growing charity and we rely on our supporters to help us deliver world-shifting impact!
