Answering your question i did some more research and there is in fact effort going in to stopping food waste, such as organisations targetting the reduction of food waste. Theyre doing this by improving the way in which food is stored and transported during its cycle to prevent spoilage (and therefore food waste) and using other methods such as redistruiting surplus foods + using technology to track and manage waste! And furthermore, we can stop business’ food waste by using our own voices to spread awareness, and in more severer cases, pressure them into changing their food waste management for the better of our environment.
