Whether you’re just beginning and don’t know where to start or you’re a green pioneer with a fully embedded climate curriculum, bristling with solar panels and with compost coming out of your ears (or somewhere in between!) - you’re not alone and Leeds DEC, an educational charity set up by Oxfam would love you to join us at Leeds Civic Hall for the Climate Schools Eco-Conference 2025!
- Hear from other schools who have taken climate action.
- Learn from climate specialists.
- Talk to organisations who are offering resources and support for schools
- Share successes and challenges in planning, creating and implementing your school sustainability action plan.
- Share ideas about collaborating with other schools to contribute to Child Friendly Leeds Wish 5 - “Everyone takes more action to protect the environment from climate change”
- Find more out about the role of a school Sustainability Lead (for adults)and what a Climate Action Plan looks like.

Please note up to 5 pupils / students from Upper KS2 and KS3 are invited to attend along with up to 2 adults from each school. This event is for students and teachers who attend schools in Leeds only.
